“The cloud is here to stay.”
So what – everybody knows that. But what you might not know is that the cloud is surprisingly “sticky” – once in, companies only grow their cloud footprints and move more applications and workloads from on-premises to public clouds.
In a recent survey we commissioned, we found that while it might have taken a company six to twelve months to complete their first cloud project, a majority of them have gone on to second and third projects (and more), each deployment taking less time than the last. We didn’t find anyone who had “tried the cloud” but then gone back on-premises. Once they’re in the cloud, they stay there.
Once you go cloud, you stay cloud – businesses are migrating multiple applications and workloads to public cloudsClick To TweetWe gained some great insights from our survey results, which we will be sharing soon.
